I90 (mass pike still I think) west of the i84 split is the longest gap in the state I think.

There was a MacBook 12 inch like this that my business partner loved. It would last all day on a charge and he was building our app with it (Xcode and I think clang builds).

This was 10 years ago though.

There might be a couple stretches in Ohio, but this isn’t one. There’s a spotin Massachusetts that’s like 60 miles round trip if you miss the exit, and it’s a tiny state!

The UP would defect first I think, but after that it’d be Vermont then maybe Maine, and the rest of Michigan if the auto industry collapses.

They don’t understand or at best, believe in soft power.

MAGAts want a war.

The parking lots themselves are a big cost to the rest of us though. At least they could be offsetting some of the environmental costs of sprawl.

Plus the electricity production should offset it in a few years, especially in the places wheee shaded parking is most desirable.

I was thinking like a paraquel. Where the second movie takes place at the same time, but from completely different perspectives.

Would be cool to highlight people with main character mentality.

I’m still annoyed that solar frickin’ parking lots (canopies, not panels on the ground) aren’t mandated in all new lots.

With all the mandated parking on the sprawl we could probably solve at least EV charging anxiety. And with some grid storage it would make a perfect use of otherwise wasted land. Plus keep the cars parked underneath cool.

That’s all hand painted, no vinyl wraps here!

Still not sure why it was right hand drive though.

Side rear view in comments.

“Testarossa” vent sticker detail in comments.

Never liked the 3 spoke wheels at the time, but kinda fun to see nowadays.

Had the perfect vanity plate too!

I’ll post a couple more pics in comments.

It’s a 1991 VW Multivan so it came with a poptop, and a cabinet in the back (so it has a weird L shaped downstairs bed), but no kitchen, just seating for 8 with two backwards facing jump seats.

It is very much 1980s technology (especially the convoluted ignition and injection system that still managed to act like a carburetor on cold starts). Everyone who approaches it at gas stations and parking lots always asks what year it is, then they look confused when it starts with a 9.
