Honestly, fuck this government and their privatisation bullshit that only benefits the rich and not the tax payers
piwakawakas
Thanks, that is amazing and has improved my morning significantly!
The real problem here is defining Christian views. There has never been one view of Christianity. Even when Paul was around.
So no one can say all Christians are x. Or they're not true Christians because x.
But you can say a large percentage of Christian America aligns itself with the republican party. So make of that what you will.
Wednesday here, no rapture. Surprise surprise.
Android is open source software that is primarily developed by Google but is free for anyone to use. However the play store and associated apps are Google proprietary software. Usually manufacturers that want to run Android also want to have the play store as that's where a good portion of the apps are. So the Google is in the phone from the time you purchase it.
However you can run Android without Google proprietary software and there are many different ROMs (like how Linux has many distros) that are created without using any Google software. This can be limiting if you rely on Google services or sometimes apps (banking etc) verify themselves via the play store and won't work otherwise.
Not sure what side of the fence you're on, but Genetically Modified Skeptic put out a video recently about this concerning the religious right.
He basically said no matter how good the argument for insert point, very few people are going to take the matter into consideration and it just ends up being a huge money making initiative.
Looking through who's running in my local, half of them have promises to cut rates with no plans on how to achieve that and keep services running. Some of the candidates are good to great, but not nearly enough of them and the rest are cleary whack jobs. Despair!
The same else where?
Sorry, you're completely right. I went back and reread the article and I had misunderstood. This is a bit much and I agree with your take.
Thanks for the correction
OK sure it's a big raise. But from what I gather they are doing (could be completely misunderstanding the job or the article hasn't clearly defined well enough for me) but I'd think that was inline with other sectors with that kind of responsibility. Maybe I'm completely deluded 🤷
Tbh, the pay rise is reasonable. But the rhetoric from government is never the same. It's just what they want it to be.
There's no money for public services. Except this one time. And this other time. Oh and for our mates
Speaking of the free speech union.
I joined Internet NZ after there was a post on reddit about the free speech union trying to take that over. I see there are two people standing from them. Who I won't be voting for.
But any body standing out as should get a vote?
MapswithNZ? Wtf?
