I felt so betrayed how absolutely nothing happened in an entire season of Invasion that I didn’t even want to give Monarch a shot.

The new official podcast app refuses to stream podcasts directly to my Bluetooth headphones. Even when I select my headphones as the Airplay output, it plays through my phone speaker. Even if I disable Bluetooth on my phone, my watch connects over cellular and it plays through my phone.

Control center incredibly troublesome to use. I always forget how to bring it up so I’ve resorted to using Siri. For those of us who misplace our phones a lot, making control center a chore to use really sucks.

I get that software updates can be a little give and take with things you like and dislike, but I’ve never seen an Apple software update make everything about a product universally worse.

Unfortunately most of the native apps require my phone to be nearby so it kinda defeats the purpose.

I have SiriusXM, but the app is basically just a remote for the phone app. It can’t stream over cellular or even Wifi on its own.

I’d love to listen to Spotify with my watch, but they hide that beyond Spotify premium.

So pretty much the only apps that get any use on my watch are native Apple apps. I use Podcasts/Weather/Timers the most.
