You don't need a lot of oil in a dressing. There is no need for them to be fat. I believe that if you dressing is incompatible with a healthy diet, it is hiding a deficency in taste until all that fat.

I use it everytime I want to make a asian-inspired salad. I haven't had an issue in many years.

NO ! I will die on this hill ! Vinaigrette is made of mostly vinaigre (T_T) That's not oilgrette or huilegrette.

The basic recipe is 1/4 oil, 3/4 vinaigre and plenty of salt.
Texture is obtain by emulsioning and the final product should be use right away.

By reducing vinaigre quantity to 2/3 (and no less) or even reducing further the oil, you get room for many extra flavoring or emulsifier that make the texture easier to obtain or more stable.
The adding of spice, or herbs (fresh or dried, grounded or not) doesn't change anything in oil/vinaigre ratio.

Ne me faite pas dire ce que je n'ai pas dit. Il y a une réponse à cette question et toutes les opinions ne se valent pas.

Je dis pain au chocolat mais la vraie question, c'est "industriel ou artisanal ?"

People mostly need to read. I don't know if you realised how much people don't need more writing than taping a few buttons on a screen or scribbling a note every few weeks.
So many people use vocal notes rather than text messages.

In the popular classes people almost don't need to write the moment they step outside of school.

I don't mock learning to write for that. Just like I don't mock learning to write cursive cause I didn't see concrete application in my current life. I haven't found the reason to know how to solve a second degree equation either but I don't call it useless either.

From Toronto Wildlife Centre

Senior Wildlife Rehabilitator Myriam peered into the enclosure, excited to see the great horned owl perching confidently! Just five days ago, the injured bird was so weak he couldn't stand on his own, lying on his chest with his little legs outstretched behind him. Kind Phobe sought help after noticing him in her garden, hopping around and unable to take off.

Once admitted to Toronto Wildlife Centre, the Veterinary Team discovered the owl could barely take a few steps before collapsing. He had suffered head and trauma, along with painful eye injuries - likely the result of flying into a window. Veterinarian Dr. Alexis DeMong gave him medication and fluids, and since he couldn't eat on his own, the Rehabilitation Team also began a hand-feeding plan.

Thanks to the incredible care he received, he began to recover. First he ate on his own, then he stood all by himself, then he started walking without falling. Finally, after just three weeks, he was flying again!

The wild animal is now with our friends at @TheOwlFoundation, where he's receiving continued care until he's ready for a new start to his wild life!

There is currently no power in the Iberian Peninsula. It has been going for about 9 hours now. Yet on Lemmy, I feel like no one talk about this huge international event.

I'll bring you straight into my mind: I was scrolling throught the n-th depressing post of the ~~day~~ hour and I thought "If I answer that post/comment by #negativity, will other people be able to filter out this content using my answer?" If not, how could we build some sort of blocklist for people to curate there experience on the fediverse.

I know I can block key word like "politics" "Trump" "Elon" but sometimes it doesn't have a precised word yet use human can categorise it easily.
