I hope some of the reddit apps migrate to lemmy. I used Infinite, so it would be my preference to see come over.

Pretty similar for me, but I never did Fark. Funnily enough after digg was sold and relaunched I started using the new digg pretty regularly. It isn't old digg, but it does find and aggregate decent news and entertainment links.

Super Mario kart and the original doom. I can play either of those games at any point and always have fun. There are newer games in both of those series, and I do love them too, but if I want some comfort gaming it's the originals for me.

I love this. I have way too many books, and I am also the type of person to download Wikipedia

I like plugging a second wireless mouse into a coworkers computer. The secret is to be subtle about it. Just turn the mouse on and jiggle it slightly. Do that randomly over a series of days. If they don't notice you can always get more aggressive with it.

Thanks, yeah I think I am going to get it. More games for the backlog!

I think Slayers X is on gamepass as well. I haven't played it yet, but I would like to. I loved the vibe and artistry of Hypnospace Outlaw, but couldn't really get into it as a game. Really cool as like a "Geocities Simulator '97" sort of thing.

I think many grey hairs suddenly sprouted on peoples' heads after commenting on this thread.

Steal some of Nintendo's branding and go with LemMiis

Music in restaurants and bars is just too loud. I know why the music is loud, but I am still going to shake my fist at it like Grandpa Simpson.

We are in an apocalypse of sorts, its just the slow motion kind that unfolds over decades, long enough for people to try to ignore it. Things get a little more hard to ignore when the sky is brown and the sun in red.

They can insist on being fairly paid, but the users have to think the transaction is fair as well. Ask Digg how much their platform was worth when all of the users were gone.
