It's very inoffensive. That's definitely what they were going for but that also means there's not much to say about it.

It might be harder to pull that off without making the phone thicker in the process, but still possible.

It's not related to the migration. The article said the lower valuation is as of May 31, before all the backlash on reddit began.

Gives me Simpsons vibes.

Chalmers: Ah- Aurora Borealis!? At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within your kitchen!?
Skinner: Yes.
Chalmers: ...May I see it?
Skinner: ...No.

Gonna have to try these out later, thanks!

I dunno if that's exactly comparable. Yes, you're technically correct...but then we should expect phones to either be thicker or have smaller battery capacity to compensate. That's probably a fine trade-off for you (and probably for me), but that's not universally true.

The concept of "tough love" can mean a lot of different things and dismissing it as having "no value" is painting with too broad a stroke.

In this specific instance, it's helpful because kids need to learn at some point that they can't always cry to get what they want. This absolutely has value because otherwise they continue that behavior as toddlers (and sometimes even past that if you keep enabling them...).

I feel like Lovers gets pretty stressful at times if you're playing 2p. I prefer more chill co-op experiences.

The big test for users is going to be once the apps shut down. Right now, it's still very convenient to browse whatever is left on reddit. On July 1st...we'll see.
