What operating system do you use for your home server? I’m planning to do unraid but what are the other options and why would you pick one or another? in c/main@selfhosted.forum

Debian Stable. Clean, easy, and reliable. Upgrades smoothly without drama.

I use PowerDNS and PowerAdmin. Supports pretty much everything (including BIND backend), has an API, and you can store the DNS records in a SQL database.
