I switched from Windows back to Mac for only one reason: The M1 Pro MacBook Pro 14. It's more efficient and performant - on battery and plugged in - than my windows laptops and it's built quality is in the same league plus Apple finally brought back a good keyboard, implemented a good webcam and useful ports.
The M1 chip and its efficiency is and was my reason and if I switch back to windows in the future it will most likely be to a Framework Laptop with AMD because of modularity, repairability and long lifespan. But I don't think that I will have the need to upgrade in the coming years, my M1 Pro Macbook Pro should last me a long time.
