I made the switch to Kagi January last year.

I know it's all just personal experience and everyone can have their own needs, but I was skeptical at first as well.

Almost a year and a half later I've got no complaints.

My searches feel like how Google felt years ago: mainly I never think about it. I search, find what I want and I'm off. It just works as I'd expect without the nonsense ads and AI Google has now.

Worth a free trial. See how it works for you.

So it's just the forward/backwards buttons you want at the bottom?

That's so interesting. I can't say I ever use the forward button when browsing and for backwards I just use the back gesture (same as any other app).

But thanks for the screenshots. I didn't even know people use that sort of setup.

FF should offer it then, if that's something people use/expect as a norm.

To offer another take, FF has never been buggy for me. Never had this keyboard issue, or any of the stuff mentioned so your mileage may vary.

As for the bottom nav, I have that on normal FF. If you go to Settings-->Customize, the option to pick top or bottom address bar is right there.

Having used both, personally I highly preferred the Pebble over the Bangle JS.

Pebble was solid software, good designs and it all just worked simply and did what I needed. I also thought the Pebble Time Round was near perfect in design and execution. I'm not a fan of the geeky look of the normal pebble and bangle watches (or the apple watch look).

The Bangle was fun to dev for, and I love that it exists, but it all felt like a dev project. Not a finished product. Granted it was early on in the project so I'm sure it's in a better place now.

They both have similar capabilities. I say go with whichever you think is going to fit what you need a smartwatch to do.

Looks like the leak was correct. Starts at $459

Seems Ratta put up the A5X2 page by mistake earlier today.

It has since been taken down but it was archived at the link posted.

The A5X2 is named "Manta".

Who knows if the price is correct or was a placeholder, but it says "starting at $459" which is great news of true.

This was my exact experience as well.

I'll keep an eye on it for sure and will most likely try to set it up again in another year or so. But right now, I have no time to fiddle to make things work.

Kitt Betts-Masters has a video up on the new Bigme B1051C color eink tablet.

Haven't seen much info on this model out there.
