For this knob, at least, they are if you respect the autonomy of all people. Unless you're looking for the total freedom of action of the despot (and expect to be the one in a position to enjoy it), I fail to see how any system that makes a belief verboten can be described as free, let alone truly so.

While I am an atheist, I no more desire the forcible eradication of religion than I do the instantiation of theocracy and I sure as shit wouldn't count either as a milestone on the road to True Freedom.

True freedom or the power to abolish things. Pick one.

Stupid question, but which matrix space/room is for this jam?

I recently learned about and met some lovely folks involved with a lesbian commune that's been running continuously for over 50 years where some of the current residents are in their 80s. Something like that sounds really nice.

Congrats!

This mirrors convoy with my mom.

Me: I need to tell you something and I need for you to not freak out.

Mom: Of course, honey.

Me: I'm trans.

Mom: Oh Jesus Christ! You had me worried. I thought something was wrong.

Early Zenphones circa 2014 - 2015 had X86 processors. I had one, it was neat. The dream of running legacy apps on a phone never materialized though.

I think they meant five 5-hour shifts per week.

I have to disagree that it's even a nice idea. The "idea" behind AI appears to be wanting a machine that thinks or works for you with (at least) the intelligence of a human being and no will or desires of its own. At its root, this is the same drive behind chattel slavery, which leads to a pretty inescapable conundrum: either AI is illusory marketing BS or it's the rebirth of one of the worst atrocities history has ever seen. Personally, hard pass on either one.

On top of all that, monosyllabic is accurate to the intended meaning while "having only one sound" is not: a single syllable word often comprises multiple phones and/or phonemes.

7 boxes in one day??? Incredible!

Tell me you don't know who the Luddites were without telling me you don't know who the Luddites were.

For. The. Last. Time.

This. Is. Not. How. A. General. Strike. Works.

I'm convinced that these posts are false flags to give the idea of a general strike a bad name. A real general strike requires planning, coordination, saving for lack of income, commitment from individuals and communities. This would take a long fucking time, probably years, to put together. This shit ain't fucking it.
