If Deputy Attorney General John Fowler said that tgen he is an asshole. I don't accept the premiss of assholes.

I wish I could buy hardware without HMDI at all so they got no money from me.

Ya'll have phones?

Maybe I should not, if it can be taken with no articulable reason given.

Feedback is very valuable. I'd like real world currency for my ~~play~~time as a tester 🤑

The max level is 75 so that makes sense.

I only just reached it and redoing my choice of skill points is tempting enough.

An extra 12 space will really help. A single skill point doesn't - I'd probably want more like 5 or 10 (unless they replace or rework some of them. Who's getting the perk to one shot some arc with Melee weapon?)

Libre alternative?

A game could be good and yet contain media created with AI generation - high rating + AI tag covers that case.

Most AI use will be slop, but as you say some could be an accident. How the dev responds to users finding out will inform users how to rate the dev team themselves.

Linux is a "monolithic kernel" where lots of things like drivers and services are inside it, apprently making it faster than a microkernel.

Not heard much. A higher up uses Linux, maybe. So far it works via Proton even with Easy Anticheat "running".

20 years ago I would have been excited: when Microsoft made Clippy to try and help people. Now we know you created this to harvest data.

I'm mind-blown that people feel no shame when data harvesting from computer illiterates, or programmers who write anti-features (like forced online accounts for a local OS).

If a country has a universal basic income then it would be easier for people to choose to donate time to a project.

I lose interest in DF when, after some lucky military dwarfs die in glorious combat, I have to micro manage re-adding dwarfs to squads. Is there a mod to automate adding dwarfs to squads?

I'd love it if the commander/captains would have meetings to choose a new member out of some pool of dwarfs that want to join. And also kick out unhappy, trouble-makers from the military.

+Wood mug+ engraving unrelated.

Hell of a first day.

Cognitohazards are my favorite - at least.. I think I remember them being my favorite.

A video taking on the difficult task to address an article with a unique format (my favorite "read"): https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-2521

They told me who you are.

This sub looks empty, thought I'd post one of my favorite SCP videos.

Work are chucking out a "Cisco 887VA-M" integrated services router.

Anyone know if I can install some custom OS/firmware via the USB on the back?

I expect this is just e-waste but maybe it has some use as emergency switch :)

I had not heard of a weighted blanket until I saw that image and searched for what it might refer to. Are they useful for adults too? Will ask my ADHD friend if they ever had one, might make a good gift.

The image looks like it could be used as a real emoji (expressing comfort). Who made it? I would like to use the image if permission has been given (e.g. Creative Commons licence).
