Wow they banned the OP of that post 3 years from that community for misinformation. Do they have proof that it is misinformation?

I could not find that post being removed from modlog. There were other removed posts but not that particular one
Whats the point of modlog if it does not record everything for auditing purpose?
Is there a way to see why a post was deleted?
I wish Lemmy provided ability to transfer ownership of posts/comments too. With subscriptions I can easily manually do it myself
I am sure they will come after reddit next :)
Edit: regarding people’s interest in this, many projects/people have been burnt before by megacorps so its definitely worth having our guard up to anticipate what might happen in the future

They will federate with Threads. If I continue posting on lemmy.world, Threads will benefit from it and Threads users would never join Lemmy because they could subscribe to our communities. But I also don’t want to split my niche communities
Not sure when accounts were redesigned but in my version (0.1.0 11) Accounts now show a list of accounts, whats the current account and Add button on top, not inside any account settings (it was before)
I believe eventually we would be able to move, set defaults, etc. the dev team is probably working on more important matters right now
