I deleted the apps. I don’t visit those sites in alternative ways but I crave it man. I miss doom scrolling and I ended up on yt shorts. Way less of the time and my field seems to avoid viral trends so I guess it’s my nicotine patch: I still do it’s just not that harmful I guess. How are you guys dealing with it? Do you consider lemmy as addictive/harmful as the mainstream socials?

Why is this not an Onion piece????

I agree. There are other stores you can get your games from, that never got mentioned in this piece. I personally love GOG for that purpose. There aren’t many new games in there but there are big and day one releases

Civvie content is like Taco Bell for the brain. It’s delicious with an aftertaste of radioactivity

It’s the funniest thing today. None of the 3 buttons do a damn thing. I couldn’t use Teams properly or Excel or teams web because it’s blocked. I’m in support so user’s start to flag it to me as well. Got in touch with my mate in Sec turns out it’s an automated response from defender flagging its own backend as malicious cloud provider or something like that.

Edit: title, it turns out it’s the Info Sec team who went a bit overboard with the block listing.
