One side is continually murdering and abusing people and the other side is trying to get them to stop, anyone saying shit like what you are saying anymore can fuck off.

How many AA powered toys does your family have?? I'm actually baffled that anyone would possibly need up to 200 AAs for their kid's toys. Are there non-powered toys in your household? I'm not trying to shame you, I'm just intrigued.

There are rechargeable lithium batteries in the form of AAs that would reduce the waste, they might not last quite as long though

Bush, Obama, and Biden and presidents before all did the same in Afghanistan and Iraq and elsewhere. If a person in a certain area was a "military aged male" they were a valid target, and they would rarely verify who they actually killed after doing a drone strike. They would bomb a families house based on a tip from one person with no other evidence and never check to see if it was accurate. Trump is just more open about it now and doing it closer to home.

What? No, being a Nazi is asking for it.

What do you mean? He worked for Constellis, formerly Blackwater, a private mercenary company, in Afghanistan. This company changed it's branding partly because of bad publicity from civilian massacres committed by it's soldiers.

I don't know a single person who accidentally got a nazi tattoo or made a whoopsie by going to Iraq for three tours then enjoying killing so much he signed up to do it for profit. I agree people change but that doesn't mean they should be trusted as a senator. There is still time for a better choice.

Potentially, but they have been detaining people before they can see a court and deporting them immediately, they don't care.

They will still charge you with attempted murder and terrorism if you're caught doing that, they've charged people worse for less. They have been detaining people and making up charges against even the most passive peaceful activists.

There's at least one in my city, he looked like an all black Masterchief weaving between dense traffic going uphill, I was pretty amazed. The most sci fi looking method of travel I've seen.

What do you mean? It helped me

From LA, couldn't find a source.

Euro-Med Monitor’s field team documented Israeli forces opening fire on thousands of civilians gathered at dawn today, Sunday, 1 June 2025, in Tel al-Sultan, Rafah, near an aid distribution centre established by the Israeli army. Preliminary data indicate that the attack killed at least 31 civilians, including two women, and injured more than 200 others. Several remain missing.

Eyewitnesses interviewed by Euro-Med Monitor reported that the US-backed organisation brings only limited quantities of aid while directing tens of thousands of Palestinians to a high-risk distribution area, where Israeli forces open fire with live ammunition and tank shells. Those who survive and reach the site often find the aid insufficient, forcing desperate competition over the scarce supplies.

“Every single signatory to this letter treated children in Gaza who suffered violence that must have been deliberately directed at them. Specifically, every one of us on a daily basis treated pre-teen children who were shot in the head.”

I can't load it, only from this instance can I see the posts and no images. Did the Biden-Harris mafia finally take it down?

I love imagining these birds having friends online they can call up whenever haha. Pet birds suffer from loneliness very often so this is fun to see.

I find myself reading more than ever, but just so I can make sure my jokes are good enough, the comedy here is unparalleled

Unfortunately not the best quality out there of this, if you're a fan I recommend looking for the whole album(1973). I can't recall where I downloaded it is but it is available somewhere with the right search

I can't stop listening to this, sorry if this is well known

Sorry if this isn't the best place for this question, I browse from lemmy.dbzer0 on firefox and am subscribed to a number of hexbear instances, but there seems to be some that just won't show up from my instance for some reason? In particular !literature@hexbear.net, for whatever reason if I search it just will not show up, other hexbear instances show up fine though. I'm not sure which might not appear other than literature.

Does anyone know if this is caused by my client, my instance, or the literature community limiting it's visibility? I'm a bit new to how the fediverse infrastructure functions.

**EDIT: Thank you for the help y'all, I still haven't got to it lol, I might try FumpyAer's suggestion and maybe it will help others that might have this issue.
