About 10% fps bump and even bigger battery life improvement at the same time borderline justifies the title in my book

Visually at first it's going to be mostly weight loss. How much depends on how much caloric deficit you are running - rule of the thumb if you eat 500 calories less than what you burn per day you will lose about a pound/0.5kg per week. Diet is 80% of success. Your muscle gains will be low while you are losing weight, but your existing muscles will become more visible.

You see yourself every day so it's going to be hard to spot differences - compare monthly photos.

Idk how it compares to tramontina, but to my surprise Ikea 365 set I bought 20 years ago is still going strong despite daily use - might be an ok budget option

It's worse than that. Situations where something causes no harm to literally anyone are few and far between. Even less often you have a full and clear picture of a situation. Usually it's a choice between who gets hurt to what extent and based on what you know you just try to minimize the damage. You will get it wrong a lot.

Life is complicated and all we can do is to try our best and hope others will too.

Alternatively you could eliminate oil company tax breaks and direct subsidies and that alone would fund it.

  • don't be an asshole
  • everything is allowed as long as nobody is getting hurt
  • act when you see something wrong
  • when you are able to help do so
  • in all other cases mind your own business

10M over 20 years to help a community of 3000 or $166 per person per year. USA is planning to increase the military budget by 150B this year or over $400 per US citIzen...

So am I. I've been writing software for a living for almost 20 years, so when I wanted to make a slightly more complicated box to 3d print openscad was my first choice too. Then I tried freecad and hated it with passion. Eventually I ended up making it in solidworks - it sucked the least of the tools I've tried.

It's great when what you are designing is best described as code, but I find it absolutely not worth the hassle otherwise, because even basic things like chamfers/fillets are extremely hard to execute.

I've built a 50m^2 (550 ft^2 ) greenhouse from polycarbonate I bought online and timber I bought from a local sawmill.

I've had no prior carpentry experience and neither my education or work experience (software engineering) was any help. The design and how to was a result of several weeks of evenings spent watching YouTube.

On the other hand the 5 step long staircase I've added to the porch because I was feeling cocky is so bad I'll be fixing it the 4th time next weekend..

As much as I hate the guy I hope he isn't killed. The last thing we need is republicans having a martyr, especially before they find out how bad for them he is.

With tariff fallout there are decent chances they will not have a majority for a long time. After the tariff act of 1930 they went from having 14 seats more than democrats to a low of 16 seats out of 96 In senate in just 8 years. After that they had a senate majority once and congress majority twice in the next 50+ years.
