It's two sides of the same coin. One side blames wealthy capitalists abusing the system to enrich themselves at the expense of others. The other side blames immigrants, minorities, etc. For stealing jobs, abusing welfare systems, etc. Causing hardship through job loss, higher than necessary taxes to cover that abuse, etc.
The question to find the truth then becomes what is it you see and experience in your daily life? Personally, i don't see how someone could steal my job. Someone can't just show up, go yoink, and take it. It's given to them, rather it's because they'll work for less money, or in worse conditions, whatever. They do something I won't that in the end, is a net gain on the profit margin, thus, im out, the other person is in. To me that person didn't steal my job, the boss gave them that job because they can take advantage of that person in ways they couldn't take advantage of me, through lower pay, worse benefits, for the sake of benefitting themselves.
Both sides see that same scenario happen, one blames the boss for taking advantage of a person to create profit, the other blames the person for stealing their job and putting them in hardship.
Hey everyone, ive been in help desk for nearly 2 years now. Starting at regular L1 help, currently doing more L2/Jr sys admin duties. I've been given a heads up by my boss that in a few months our security systems admin is leaving, and they want me to put in for the position when it opens up.
As it stands, i have my associates in cybersecurity, net+, sec+, and am studying for the CySA+. Is there anything else I can, or should be doing to give myself the best chance possible to make sure I get this when it opens up?
