I'm glad they kept their vision on slow combo based combat. Otherwise they would throw under the bus all the nice animation and different attack pattern they developped on each monster. I hoped they would reduce the monster move speed and make them a bit more deadly so that play positionning matter more. Some mobs already play thar well : the sorceress with the read area marker ib the first area, the knight with the shield sending a green projectile on hit in the mausoleums..

0.2 launch was rockandroll on the technical side. I couldn't play on AMD gpu until 6hours after launch. This hurted their reputation, despite technically being fine. (Firsr cohort reported issue, fix deployed super fast)

Ascension is unlocked lvl22, i tried it lvl 25 and succeeded it (monk, v0.2 HC standard league, no buy). I'm casual player (not played endgame more than 3 hours)

It was the first challenge proposed in 0.1, which as for all the game, can be solved with just... better gear.

Not all that is proposed can be done fingers in the nose without gear. That is what also makes great the reroll experience where you can 'feel' the difference of your smurf equipement to levelup faster.

You hace time to look to it until they fix the patch. Anyone knows how to precompile the shaders ?

I will not. I'm too casual. I usually only reach to complete the campaign (6acts) over a season, get lost when arriving endgame lacking objective then stop to play. I'm redoing an hardcore character for ea league

Not so impressed by the gameplay in video. It seems more poe1 screen mess incoming...

Je jongle en mastodon et lemmy. Le problème en Belgique ou ailleurs c'est le lobbying / propagande. On peut se faire notre nid ici, le reste du monde s'en fout. Et comme sans pognon, pas de bras, pas de chocolat. Hormis les etudiants qui ont des compétences et du temps, on fait pale figure face à l'impact de sociétés ou riches bien décidés à aller dans l'autre sens.

I bought LE in EA but couldn't get hookef by their gameplay. It seems their are struggling to keep on the combat mechanics. It's dull maps with very basic attacks and very little positionning. At least this is my feedback for first 20 hours and stopped there.

They have one more month without update to keep you engaged and not depressed.

As Chris is gone I wonder if the game will be evolving toward faster or slower encounters. I reached endgame and it's mostly an gear/build check. I press all buttons and everything explodes. They are so big mob packs that positioning is worthing less.

it's their freemium model. It's not a free game. But's it's not unfair.

To give you an example: The EA cash pour paid is converted into game currency with which you have enough to you can buy this stash...

And it really matters only if you dive more than a tip in the endgame. After 100 hours I still have not.

It's on purpose. Dev explained the dodge end animation is slow so that players don't use it constantly to run

Seems fair to me.

Disconnect. Game is a drug that can have downside effect on your real life.
