Currently not far, but I’m going to be moving to another country in a couple months and it will be about 5,000 miles away
v01dworks
Road to Vostok looks absolutely insane and it’s being made in Godot. I’ve played demos of it a bit and it definitely still is in development but there’s serious potential in my opinion
It performs insanely well, too
Seriously! I could read a post title and then accurately guess what the top comment would be way too often and it was just slowly driving me insane to be on there
I deleted my account after the API changes that killed the Apollo app and I basically only go on there now if I get a post as a relevant result in my search engine lol but I’m never going back as a regular user
Yeah half the reason I left Reddit was that it felt either like a hive mind or like it was just full of bots, or both, and I left before LLMs took off. I can’t imagine it’s gotten any better since then
Linux gaming has gotten really good and continues to get better. Currently, I’d agree with what most of the other responses here have been and say Mint or Pop!_OS
This doesn’t help for the current build you’re setting up and I’m not suggesting to wait for it, but for the future I’d suggest also to keep an eye on SteamOS and when Valve eventually releases it for people to just download and install on whatever machine, it’s likely going to be the best option for this kind of scenario
It’s not abandoned, it just happened to be very foggy this day and I thought it looked really cool
I took this by the Medeu ice rink in Almaty
so I originally got mine for my PC and that’s where I mainly use it, but I also use it with my Steam Deck sometimes via Bluetooth
I have the Epomaker EK68 and it’s a 65% sized keyboard so it’s smaller than a full sized one but not too tiny. I find it nice because it’s not TOO compact but can slip into a backpack without taking up too much space. It can connect with USB, dongle, or Bluetooth and switches between them with a little switch on the back. It’s mechanical and you can swap the key switches for whatever type you want
Overall not too expensive either
I think it’s a joke about people sitting outside at cafes in Europe?
I’ve heard this is a thing a lot of Americans find weird but I’m American and it’s not weird at all to me, we do literally the same thing here (at least in my home state)
Context was that I just saw this from the back seat of a taxi in Kazakhstan while I was visiting, thought it was funny that it had a baby chair strapped to it and took a photo
The sign is in Russian and says for sale for 55,000 Kazakh Tenge
That’s 55,000 Kazakh Tenge ($100 roughly) I took this photo in Almaty, Kazakhstan
And yes absolutely the safest way to bike with a baby
