Well generally if they cancel the service right then, yes you should get a prorated refund. The other alternative is simply allow for cancellation of the auto-renewal, so when the subscription runs out it simply expires.
I bought it at $1 a month because it basically includes simplelogin for free. Which is normally $30 a year or more. The catch is you can only create simplelogin aliases via the password manager extension only.

While I’m sad about the Reddit api changes. I’m also happy about them if they make Lemmy popular, I’d love to ditch Reddit altogether.
My boss has started to ask me to come into the office, even though I've worked great remotely. I live far away and he knows that. It's angering, not to mention there is only 1 person on my team in the office, the rest are in other areas of the world INCLUDING MY MANAGER! AHHHHH
