I made a really delicious cheesecake for the first time. I had no idea it'd be so easy to make.

The thought of mega corps polluting the night sky with satellites makes me so bummed.

It's insane that disposables with lithium ion batteries are legal.

If you really like lore, sure. It's not necessary. I think the second one is way more polished. I bounced off the first one pretty hard, but I'm still enjoying the 2nd.

OsmAnd is great. You should try Organic Maps. I've had better luck with the search.

I'd recommend some CLI utility to a beginner over Python: pandoc, ffmpeg, image magic...

Iirc credit cards aren't accepted some places because the swipe fee is expensive for the business owner. Yeah, points aren't free.

Perfect dark holds up even better if you use two n64 controllers. Basically modern FPS style controls! I think Golden Eye had the same option?

I've played a lot of this game already and it all felt really solid. Super surprised with how much they've changed!

If all you want to do is game, why not get a Steam Deck?

I picked it up to do some canvas projects. Sews through 6 layers of canvas pretty easily! First simple thing I made (warning, pretty amateur sewing :) )

Easy hike in the Pacific northwest. Spectacular view!

Pretty sure this isn't ultra light. Found in a retro(?) magazine from a thrift store

I don't know anything about mushrooms. Found these in my garden, Washington state (Puget sound)

Everytime I have to do something with a dns, subnet, general networking shenanigans. I get really lost. Are there any good books for self learning that won't put me to sleep?

Hey! Just curious if anyone has read this book. Also, in the beginning it mentions buying Nylon twine (36-48), double braided Dacron rope, and three strand spun Dacron rope. I went to my local West Marine and had trouble actually finding this stuff, it's a smaller store so maybe they didn't have it? Can anyone point me in the right direction to find this stuff?
