Yeah, wasn’t part of Reddit’s reasoning for not backing down that the API backlash only affects a small subset of users and that most of their use base won’t notice what’s going on (besides being inconvenienced by the blackout)? This kind of shines a spotlight on the fact that everyone is seeing what’s going on.

I wonder if many other subs will stay dark past the initial going dark protest. I just happen to exclusively use Apollo and have for years, so I support the mods in what they are doing.
