Would you mind to elaborate that? I am genuinely curious and want to learn. I am not quite sure what you are referring to - being looked at with admiration or being talked about in a derogative way (the teeth comment)? I can't really wrap my head around and it seems like I am missing something.

For real, I am even calling over friends for help to set up a Windows PC or a printer. I have absolutely no idea about technology and computers. I want something easy and mainstream because this way I have an easier time getting support. Two steps are one step too much. I have a lot of strengths but understanding tech is definitely not one of them. And frankly, I neither have the time nor interest to learn anything about it. I have a great respect for linux and I have fond memories of playing a game on my dad's computer, but it's not something that's for me.

Apart from social prestige and low income depending on where they live and work - and these things could be absolutely fixable and I sincerely hope there will be a flip in them - it's the physical labor.

No matter how much prestige this job will ever get, how good the money will pay - it will always end up being taxing on the body. Especially with little technological help provided. I get back pain after 2 hours of mopping the floor, I cannot imagine doing this every day. For years and years and years. I cannot imagine mopping the floor close to retirement age and doing the heavy lifting that is necessary in this job.

Not that physical labor is "wrong". It is the most important form of labor there is and I personally think that these people should be put on pedestals and admired in our society and get the highest pays. Because they are paying with their health and body. But I do think that this taxing aspect would be why, even if it was a socially prestigious job, a lot of people would still opt out.

Now I wonder how much an American window costs over here

I would argue Fleabag. But it depends on what you mean with positive.

My argument for Fleabag is that she is a full human being with good sides and bad sides. It is a realistic portrayal. Same goes for the other women in the show (godmother, Claire, the lady winning the Women in Business award). They all have depth and character. I don't want women to be portrayed as perfect, I want them to be portrayed as relatable. The whole show depicts people that you feel like "I know that girl", "I know that guy". And in the end:

  • godmother steps over her shadow and asks for help
  • Claire goes for what she really wants
  • Belinda (?) can't be fucking arsed because she knows what she wants and what she is and what she is not
  • Fleabag experiences real human connection and feels ready to leave her audience behind

I've studied nutrition science and we talked about what you described and yes, the blunt "truth" is that liposuction is the only reliable way to really get rid of "emptied fat cells". There are a lot of things playing into the dreaded yo yo effect but the fact that it is much easier to refill emptied cells than to make new cells via division is definitely a big factor.

("Truth" is in "" because I dislike this term in a scientific context but english is my third language and it's pretty late over here so I am struggling to find a better suited word)

Good luck on your weight loss journey. It is an incredibly hard and brave one to take and I admire that you are trying.

I 100% agree with everything you said. I am very much pro legalisation of weed and decriminalization of all drugs. Unless you are cooking up tons and tons of fentanyl you shouldn't be in jail.

To me, education and awareness includes not equating marijuana and oregano.

Yeah man. I don't stack anything, not because I don't want to help, but I don't want to mess with your system. Waiting isn't as easy as it seems and I absolutely have no idea how to do it, so I don't want to interfere. I prefer to sit awkwardly and pretend that me leaning back as much as I can to make more space is equally helpful.

I mean, it's fun and all for a while, until you realize that 8/10 people have developed a moderate to severe drinking problem by the age of 25.

Yes. Bavaria specifically.
