I think out of most of the predictions around AI, this is the most sane. They're already seeing absolutely insane results from private AI tutoring, and diagnostic capabilities with AI.

On the surface this sounds right, until you realize that they announced that signal is on their devices by default indicating it's within policy. So they're clearly not using it for some compliance workaround otherwise they wouldn't be announcing it.

Guy is either a reddit employee plant or just an idiot. For better or worse that sub doesn't have much traction anyway. Platforms grow organically.

It's plans and contingency plans for massive civil unrest. What becomes more interesting is the next thought in that chain... The people moving and building bunkers and compounds include the people who bought Trump the presidency and sat at his inauguration. Makes sense that they'd prepare for an eventuality where they needed to flee or be safe from temporary unrest, but if they're demonstrably in the drivers seat, then why? Because it's intentional or unavoidable.
