That's going to require a cpu that's 10 years from now if they want to keep the highest performance year after year

No I wouldn't worry about it. There's advantages. For one it's a lot lighter and that's a good advantage

Only get the pro is you really want 120hz and the camera features

Otherwise if you just do basic point and shoot for whenever you need it and don't care about 120hz refresh rate screen just stick to the base model

Cheaper. Lighter. And works just as good
