Quite some of the companies in these three lists are American so they might not be the best eu alternatives, but still wanted to share these three lists.

Hello,

The T-shirts from threadless has always been good quality for the price, with nice esthetics sometimes (I also buy just flat colours), what's the replacement site for tall guys (6"6) in Europe?

For those among us who are menstruating: drip. is a very neat little period tracking app that offers basic tracking functions and fertility planning. All data is only stored locally.

It is open source and was developed in Germany. It's available on Android and iOS.

Hello everyone,

I'm aware of websites such as buy-european.net or goeuropean.org that index many European companies. However, they tend to only include "big" companies, which often don't actually make their products in Europe (or at least only a small part of them) or that are just as bad politically and ethically as some American actors. I also personally know of a lot of small companies that also make great products (and frequently they are actually far better or eco-friendlier than the ones made by big companies).

In France, I know of "www.marques-de-france.fr" (sorry the website is only in French) which references many smaller companies that actually make (most of) their products in France (or at least Europe). Do you know of equivalent websites in other European countries ? Or even better, a website at the European level that actually does this for many European countries ?

I asked on Mastodon a few minutes ago if Alternativeto.net was going to add any country fields or badges in order to make it easier for users like us to choose and already got this answer! Feel free to go boost favorite/boost their answer here.

Iโ€™m having a bit of an ethical dilemma - I currently work for a large-ish American fashion retailer that sells a lot of European brands. Itโ€™s been a pleasure seeing a bunch of brands that we sell show up here. Iโ€™m in need of new jeans and have been considering shopping after work since I also get a staff discount.

The company itself fits my core values and hasnโ€™t abandoned DEI, which is the main reason Iโ€™m considering a purchase. It is, however, still an American company and while the clothing is European, the money would still go to an American company and into their economy. For additional context, Iโ€™m in The Netherlands.

Thoughts? Iโ€™m currently on my way to a shift and wonโ€™t be able to immediately reply โ€” wanted to post before I forgot :3

Iโ€™m from latam working for an American company, I donโ€™t want to help American companies anymore, I work as a CRM specialist for b2b saas and I donโ€™t see big job boards like LinkedIn.

It's hard to find clothing not made in Asia. So I wanted to shout out Community Clothing, of Patrick Grant, Great British Sewing Bee fame. It's where I buy most stuff now, and I love it.
