Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders sent a letter to the University of Arkansas and Arkansas State University boards calling for an annual matchup between the two schools' football teams at War Memorial Stadium.

What a weekend, only a sport like cfb can have such a wild weekend when its a "sleepy" week for games. How should we rearrange the c/cfb rankings?

A photo I took today, the first home game of the season. I wish I had taken it earlier -- the stadium was full until it started to become a blowout. I'm not really a big fan of these non-conference mismatch games, but the weather was great and I'm really excited about Utah's quarterback this season. (Utah's previous starting quarterback has been injured for like the last three years in a row and barely played.) He also looked good last week against UCLA, so it's not like he only makes good passes against a Big Sky team's defense.

What a massive miss!

I for one don't understand the 'SEC underperformed week 1' narrative. Texas lost a tight game to a good team (with terrible qb play), Kentucky had a weak showing and alabama may simply not be the team they were for the past two decades (c'mon Shula era tide, make that comeback!). But otherwise the conference looked good imo.
