Mozilla is warning Firefox users to update their browsers to the latest version to avoid facing disruption and security risks caused by the upcoming expiration of one of the company's root certificates. [...] Users need to update their browsers to Firefox 128 (released in July 2024) or later and ESR 115.13 or later for 'Extended Support Release' (ESR) users.

I'm half expecting representatives from the Russian FSB to be brought in to "consult" on security within Homeland Security...

Hey infosec-interested pub-friends! I have a "newsletter" / info-digest called "Scrolls" I've been doing for a few weeks now that has a section entirely dedicated to interesting Cybersecurity/Infosec news, articles, tools, w/e. You can see the latest issue here, and can always jump straight to the infosec section by appending "#cybersecurity" to the end of each issue's URL (if you don't care about the Fediverse and IndieWeb-specific stuff).

You can subscribe to Scrolls in your RSS reader using this direct link. Unlike other "newsletters", there is no email-delivery-option, so feel free to check it out ad-hoc or just use RSS.

I'd also love some feedback on it if you take the time to check it out and have thoughts. Am I surfacing interesting things? Is it just ANOTHER FREAKING LINK DUMP that doesn't add value? Is there something you think would be useful for me to do with it from the cybersecurity side? Open to suggestions!

Thanks y'all.
