i happened to write a longer comment about 'folkhögskolor', an educational forn exclusive to the nordic countries and never mentioned in english-speaking threads i come across. so here, for interest in a real important educational form threatened by obscurity & defunding

For context: Ryan Walters has been refusing to show up to work since getting caught watching naked people at the last board meeting.

Emergency certified teachers (teachers with no training in education, just randoms with a bachelors) have to be paid at the rate substitutes get paid at until the board approves them for full pay.

Walters has of course taken time in his busy day of not working to threaten teachers on social media if they make any untoward comments about what happened to Charlie.
