My relationship with "Michael" didn't work out, but I have a new crush "Kieran".

I won't say much, but Kieran and I actually met at a therapy reunion sort of thing where every person within my age group who went to that therapy group at one point came together and we said our "final goodbyes" (unless we went back. I really hope that in the future, Kieran and I go and end up going to the same therapy.

Anyway, while I was still dating Michael, I met Kieran and sort of had a crush on him (though not "love", we just met). He doesn't text much, but when he did today, I asked him if he wanted to hang out some time next month since I was busy all throughout this month, and he said he would love to hang out!!!!!!!

Yay!!!!!!!

I barely think about Michael anymore but the hurt is still there. I'm happy, though, and I'm gonna make my posts all about me, my friends, life, and Kieran now.

I decided to just stay friends with him after everything: his mental health plus him not caring enough about what I like and saying stuff about how my interests sucked, wanting me to do stuff for him (buy/make gifts, watch his shows) but would never do that for me, etc. so now I’m a single Pringle boi!

i (m, gay) have been with my bf (m, bi) for about three months. we are in a long-distance relationship, and we've been friends for a year or two now, maybe like october 2023. lately, he's been really depressed. when he's not depressed, he's just tired and overall low energy. he never really has a lot of energy to talk to me or anything like that, and even if he wants to, he doesn't feel like it from his depression.

he has had a bad childhood and has trauma and i feel really bad for him. i get really sad/depressed when he's depressed and he says i do help, but only a little because he's so empty. he also doesn't know what he wants, so i'm there to support him. he doesn't know whether or not he wants to talk to me sometimes either, so sometimes we take mental health breaks and come back once we're happier.

i don't really know what to do, it's also not like he lost feelings for me.

he comes from a fairly poor family with an abusive family member.

i was straight for a long time until i dated a masc-presenting enby (masc + neutral terms) and realized i was ok with having boyfriends and dating guys and masc people. now i don’t even know if i like girls so i’ve come full circle or whatever…

and I'm seeing a young guy who is sexy af and i totally feel like a teenager. And i feel blessed that i am experiencing this and I can tell my husband about it. I just need to say it.

In lieu of a final 4th season, they're producing a feature length film. Despite the rather saccharine and overly PG vibes, I really enjoyed the vision of a queer teenage life that was actually a life, even despite setbacks like rigid family, mental illness, trans discrimination. I spent most of my teen life at home depressed playing World of Warcraft and struggling to conceptualize what I could even be if I was out of the closet, so in a way it's a cathartic watch.

TL;DR the venue quietly jacked up the quote for a gay couple planning to wed in the famously gay-friendly resort town in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The couple suspected they were getting duped, so they asked friends to get a quote for a wedding with the same specs, and their suspicions were confirmed. They did some googling on the venue and found many reviews indicating the same experience among other gay couples.
