LV426 - On Lemmy no one can hear you scream

A fan-made short film directed by Kelsey Taylor and starring Jolene Anderson and Aubrey Wakeling. Created as part of the Alien 40th anniversary shorts project run by Tongal in association with 20th Century Fox.

Predator: Killer of Killers, an original animated action-adventure film set in the Predator universe, will premiere June 6th, 2025, exclusively on Hulu. The anthology story follows three of the fiercest warriors in human history: a Viking raider guiding her young son on a bloody quest for revenge, a ninja in feudal Japan who turns against his Samurai brother in a brutal battle for succession, and a WWII pilot who takes to the sky to investigate an otherworldly threat to the Allied cause. But while all these warriors are killers in their own right, they are merely prey for their new opponent – the ultimate killer of killers.

I'm a sucker for good audio productions; my attention span is too garbage for just a normal audiobook. All of the ones directed by Dirk Maggs I find really engaging.

I'm sure it seemed like a great idea, but the waggy tail and good-boy body language just aren't scary.

In an effort to temper my expectations for Alien: Earth, I'm trying to remind myself of some of the weirdest/worst/oddest Alien lore decisions that were revealed in official Alien universe installments, including:

• Aliens share a psychic/empath connection with Ripley's offspring.
• Ripley had an entire encounter with another crew and Ash between Alien and Aliens, then had her memory wiped.
• Cultists who worshiped the xenomorphs voluntarily incubated themselves with chestbursters to walk among the xenomorphs undisturbed.

Any others? I seem to recall there being a humanoid Alien queen, but iirc she was just a nightmare vision.
