Stalin’s solution was to have Wayne killed by the KGB. Munn’s source for this information? None other than Orson Welles, who apparently recounted the story unprompted at a dinner in 1983. According to Munn, Russian filmmaker Alexei Kapler blabbed to fellow director Sergei Bonachuck about the order. Bonachuck, though sceptical at first, asked Gerisimov to confirm the tale. He did, and so Bonachuck told Welles.

this rocks lol

I skipped the years 2006 - 2017 to make the change look more obvious

I recommend viewing it full screen and glancing back and forth between different years

2002 was a freak hot year

In the 2000s you see a lot of yellow and green interlaced into the summer nights, and much less dark red.
You also see much more blue in the winters

It took only 18 years to get to this point (the difference between the median years of the two data sets), and since it's always faster than expected, we probably got ~9 years for the next equivalent amount of change, and then ~4 years for the next one after that, except it's probably even faster than this so ima say 3 years till the nukes fly

  • 3600 boys and men were polled in London
  • 16 percent said that feminism was more harmful than good
  • one in four said that men said that being a man was harder than being a woman
  • one in five said they view Andrew Tate positively
  • 32 percent said they view Jordan Peterson positively
  • 37 percent said that "toxic masculinity" is an unhelpful phrase

Professor Bobby Duffy, director of the Policy Institute, said the opposing views of some young men and women is a surprising trend. "This is a new and unusual generational pattern," he said.

The reason for the contrasting views of young men and women could be the result of social media consumption. That's the view of Rosie Campbell, Director of the Global Institute for Women's Leadership at King's. She said: "The fact that this group is the first to derive most of their information from social media is likely to be at least part of the explanation."

While critics of the Senate bill conceded that it was better than the House proposal, they still urged the senators to oppose it. Immigrant rights advocates also pointed out that the bills mentioned above and another Senate proposal easing construction work restrictions for minors come a year after Florida enacted a sweeping anti-immigration law. Since July, Florida has cracked down on employers hiring undocumented immigrants.

In 2021, noncitizen immigrants accounted for 34 percent of Florida’s agricultural workforce and 23 and 14 percent in the construction and service industries, respectively, according to health policy nonprofit KFF.

During committee meetings in 2024, lobbyists for the Associated Builders and Contractors of Florida said they wrote provisions of the Senate proposal to roll back restrictions in the construction industry. That proposal has been changed to remove provisions allowing teens to work on commercial and residential roofs.
