Announcement on Steam.

Greetings, Dear Manager.

We would like to inform you that fixes for certain issues from our post-1.77.0 Known Issues notice in Main Story Canto 8 - <Part 2> will be deployed via a hotfix.

The Hotfix will be deployed without a separate client update, but please note that additional downloads may occur once it is complete.

[Known Issues]

▶ Skill text errors for a certain enemy Skill in Stage 8-20

  • Before: Inflict Rupture On Hit with the first Coin, inflict Deathrite[Wane] On Hit with the second Coin
  • After: Inflict Rupture and Deathrite[Wane] On Hit with the first Coin
※ This is a text-only change; currently, the effects are working as written in the changed description.

[Deployment ETA]

  • 5.22(THU) 23:00(KST)
  • There may be a 10-minute margin of error to the ETA.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Hello. This is Kim Jihoon, Director at Project Moon.

Unbreakable Coins were added to the game to show off enemy animations and to add further density to the combat visuals.

However, I realized that the behavior of Unbreakable Coins in Canto 8 – <Part 2> was solely focused on raising the game difficulty, as opposed to giving a more visually entertaining experience. Therefore, we intend to alleviate this issue.

We will be using these Unbreakable Coins to prioritize "showing off the enemy animations", as that was our initial design intent.

This does not mean that they will never be used to raise Encounter difficulties going forward; this means that, when we do so, we will try our best to ensure that their behavior adds difficulty without being infuriating or feeling unfair.

Thank you.

[Difficulty Adjustments]

▶ Difficulty for certain Encounters in Stage 8-20 will be lowered.

▶ EXP Luxcavation #8 Encounter difficulty will be lowered.

[Deployment ETA]

  • 5.22(THU) 23:00(KST)
  • There may be a 10-minute margin of error to the ETA.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

※ The Hotfix will be deployed without a separate client update, but please note that additional downloads may occur once it is complete.

Greetings, dear Manager.

After the 1.77.0 Scheduled Update, we identified a typo in the EN version of the game where a Keyword had an incorrect name, and listed an incorrect number in its description.
The hotfix will be deployed without a separate client update, and will be downloaded upon restarting the game. Please note that additional in-game downloads will occur, however.

Content
▶ (EN Only) Fixed a typo in Red Sheet Don Quixote's Keyword 'Twisted Curse Talisman' & the name of the Keyword

  • Before: Entangled Curse Talisman, Max Stack: 5
  • After: Twisted Curse Talisman, Max Stack: 10
※ This is a text-only issue; the Max Stack is currently 10.

Deployment ETA
▶ 5.22(THU) 18:00(KST) - There may be a 10-minute margin of error to the ETA.

Additionally identified issues will be added to our next update, and we will inform you via the May 25th (MON) Scheduled Update.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Hello, this is Project Moon.

The following are the Known Issues that have been Identified after the 2025. 05. 22 Scheduled Update.

Please refer to the list below for more information.

[Known Issues]

▶ An issue where, in Stage 8-20, 1) losing an Encounter with a Fixed Unit, 2) retrying the same Encounter, and 3) winning the Encounter could cause the equipped E.G.O list to show up blank
※ Please note that, as a temporary solution, this issue can be resolved by restarting the game.

▶ An issue where a Coin image doesn't load properly when converting them via specific Artifact effects

▶ An issue where the Panic Type 'Charge Circuitry Countercurrent' can activate infinitely instead of limited by the '2 times per turn' cap

▶ An issue where an enemy in 8-20 has incorrect text descrptions
※ The affected Skill description was supposed to say that it inflicts both Rupture and Deathrite [Wane] with its first and only Coin, but as it is written now, the description separates those effects into 2 Coins. The description will be adjusted to fit its actual effects.

▶ (JP Only) An issue where a certain text does not load properly

  • Relevant Character : 罡

The Known Issues list will be corrected with our next Scheduled Update, and we will share further details on the May 26th (MON) Scheduled Notice.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Announcement on Steam.

Hello, this is Project Moon.

We have identified an issue with the May 15th Scheduled Update(Ver.1.76.0) where the final node of Story Dungeons would become un-interactable.

We have identfied the cause of this issue, and will be deploying the fix with Version 1.76.1 at 2025.05.15 17:00 (KST).

However, as mobile environments require us to submit the update for review for the fix, we would like to ask for your understanding that it may take some time for us to release Version 1.76.1 on mobile marketplaes.

We would like to recommend using the Steam version of the game until Version 1.76.1 passes the reviews on mobile marketplaces.

We will inform you via an additional update once we are able to confirm that this new version has passed the mobile store reviews.

We sincerely apologize for this softlocking issue.

[Issue]

  • An issue where, after the 2025.05.15 Scheduled Update, the final node of Story Dungeons cannot be interacted with

[Cause]

  • A side effect of separating the updated logic from the old logic in the process of updating the movement process between stages

[Solution]

  • Resolved the logic that was causing the issues

[Future Measures]

  • Set up an internal development reminder to separate the necessary logic when updating
  • Add an extra test case when making improvements to preexisting functionalities

We once again sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

[5/15 Scheduled Update Error Compensation]
Compensation : Lunacy x1000

  • Recipients: all users whose game accounts were created before 10:00 May. 22nd, 2025 (KST)
  • When: After May 15th, (Thu) 2025, 17:00 (KST) Can be claimed once per account

Hello,
this is Project Moon.

We have identified an issue with the Version 1.75.0, deployed Apr. 30th(WED) 12:00 (KST),
where applying Custom Language causes various UI elements to malfunction and load incorrectly.

We would like to ask for your understanding that, as this error directly coincided with our development schedule for Canto 8, it is difficult for us to deploy a new game client version for this issue via a hotfix.

Cause

  • This issue was a side effect of an effort to address the issue in which the English font would load in simultaneously next to fonts used for custom languages
  • Logic crashes occurred between texts that were loaded via a separate logic for this custom effect and the one for the adjusted system, which caused the fonts to load incorrectly

Solution

  • Identified the steps taken to develop this custom effect, and resolved the separate logic used to implement the adjustments

The version with the fix for this issue will be deployed when the May 8th (THU) 12:00 (KST) Scheduled Maintenance ends.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

This aims to be a masterpost for every official story released by Project Moon about their universe. Please tell me if I'm missing anything or if you find dead links, I'll do what I can to get everything back up!

General information

Project Moon creates stories in a single universe shared across all their projects so far. This means that there is a lot of things that are mentioned in several stories, and if you really want to go through this without spoilers, the order is very important. I'll do my best to give you the information you need to make your choices =)

It is to be noted that at the time of writing this, going through the video games with no other stories is self-sufficient, even though you'll miss some background (and worldbuilding, but this is visibly in the process of being added to Limbus Company bit by bit).

The video games

The most known stories, also the most easy to find. Their chronological order in-universe is the same as the release order.

  • Lobotomy Corporation: available only on Steam, it's the very first story in the ProjMoon-verse. If you'd rather go through a Let's Play than play it by yourself, there is a text+screenshots one on lparchive: Lobotomy Corporation by TeeQueue. I have no recommendation for video Let's Play, don't hesitate to share yours in the comments.
  • Library of Ruina: available on Steam and Xbox, and releasing on PS4 and Switch on April 25th 2024, it takes place immediately after Lobotomy Corporation, so if you start with this game you will be heavily spoiled about LobCorp. On the other hand Library of Ruina does what's necessary to be understandable with no knowledge of LobCorp (it's very well done, but it's still less impactful if you haven't gone through the whole previous story). Unlike LobCorp, this game is voiced, so if you go the Let's Play route I really recommend looking at videos for the cutscenes at least. There's an ongoing text+screenshots+links to videos Let's Play on Something Awful with backup on LP Beach, also by TeeQueue. (When it's finished and archived I'll put the archive link instead.) I'm taking recommendations for video Let's Play.
  • Limbus Company: available on Steam, Android's Google Play and iOS's App Store, it takes place some time after Library of Ruina. It's less directly linked to the previous games than Ruina was to LobCorp, but the spoilers are present for all aspects from worldbuilding to specific characters' story. The game follows a pattern of episodic release and is currently ongoing. I currently have no recommendation of Let's Play.

Other Project Moon stories

These range from less known but actually easy to access to outright not accessible anymore in their original version. And there are lots of formats too. I'll list them in rough in-universe chronological order.

  • Untitled: part of the ending of Lobotomy Corporation in video form, available with English subtitles on ProjMoon youtube channel. It is literally part of the ending of the game so it's 100% made of spoilers. But animated and voiced.
  • WonderLab: webcomic, original unavailable. Can be read on imgur (upside: chaptered with chapter titles; downside: each chapter opens a new tab) or on the Internet Archive (upside: easy to navigate; downside: not chaptered). It's a spin-off of Lobotomy Corporation, taking place roughly at the same time, and ending a bit after the game, so it's recommended to read it after you're done with LobCorp. It introduces concepts reused later in the ProjMoon-verse, but is currently in a weird status of having been made non-canon while still showing things clearly canon. It is an interesting read, but be aware that the characters not already appearing in other Project Moon stories do not belong to ProjMoon and thus will not be brought back.
  • A Fritter Called Jeon: self-described "audio theater", it's a voice acted and lightly animated youtube video adding to the background of some Library of Ruina characters. It is clearly spoilers for Ruina.
  • The Pianist: short story, original unavailable. Korean version on the Wayback Machine and fantranslation (allowed by ProjMoon as per this post (also crediting the author)), salvaged by a combination of the Wayback Machine and a friend's technical knowledge, readable here. It was originally used to tease Library of Ruina, and speaks of an event that's important to the story of Library of Ruina. The angle is quite different though so while I would consider it spoilers for Ruina, your mileage may vary.
  • Distortion Detective: webnovel, discontinued. It's a spin-off of Library of Ruina, taking place roughly at the same time and exploring different events. Given the worldbuilding elements it uses, I'd advise to go through Ruina first, but it doesn't spoil anything story-wise. It's left unfinished because Project Moon announced they plan to rework it in a video game format when they can. Still worth the read (and Project Moon clearly announced they would put elements of Distortion Detective in Limbus Company). A comic version of chapter 19 was created as a test for Leviathan, its official version is currently unavailable (cf Leviathan below) but it is readable on reddit.
  • Leviathan: webcomic/webnovel, taking place between Library of Ruina and Limbus Company and bridging the gap between the two. ~~The official version can be a bit tricky to access because the website is in Korean and you need to create an account to access this story (it's rated mature for violence), and the last chapters never got translated~~; there is a Steam guide with direct access to both the officially translated chapters and a fantrad of what's missing. (EDIT: as of July 26th 2024, the webcomic part as been taken down from the official version, please refer to the Steam guide.) Not necessary to understand Limbus but reframes quite a lot of things. If you want to read it I'd advise to do so before playing too far into Limbus because there are now heavy spoilers for Leviathan in Limbus.

Bonus

HamHamPangPang is a real restaurant owned by Project Moon, they do self-product-placement, yes. It's in South Korea and has themed menus and official merch.
