I saw the NYT article earlier and the video of the question and response. The article felt like it was describing a different event entirely.
I'm not a Biden fan, but I get real skeptical of motives when the NYT starts to go as hard as they have.
All the press attention has nearly changed my mind, I trust them to be on the right side of things about as much as I trust the politicians to be. At least the Weekend at Biden's team is consistent about their positions.
I do think Biden wants to win, but I don't think the DNC minds losing to Trump. There's many ways in which it's convenient for them, whether they realize they themselves are fascists yet or not they can rationalize it over the Gazan "thing" (I'm in their brain) or fundraising they can launder to their consultants. The media bloodbath is consistent with this analysis.
