Don't worry about control or being unable to react in time etc or how it affects you physically.

Fly, because then I could visit folks I care about whenever I wanted.

Because I don't live on the land masses where the people I care about live, so the only way to get there would be to fly.

It would take 41 days non-stop flying to cross the Atlantic at that speed. Bit of an extreme example but yeah
