The trick for Mario Party is to crank up the difficulty on a COM player and then just explicitly ally against them. We all win so long as Luigi loses. Actual star and coin count are just for bragging rights behind the primary objective of putting him in the dirt.

I've never been more openly vulnerable than when gaming with a buddy of mine. I swear we both know the ins and outs of each other's personal drama without even intending to ever share it. Shit just came out on its own
