One of the things I find really lacking about the Steam Deck is there isn't an easy way to display a visual aid to a particular control scheme, which I think any good control scheme worth actually investing time into needs.

Have any of you found a template you like for showing Steam Deck control schemes? It would be nice to have a common one you could use for many different control schemes, or at least it would be nice to have a clean template to start from.

I am thinking like an inkscape .svg, or idk.

I would like to have that too. When I looked (oh god its already a year ago) couldn't find any. I've created a control scheme that I would like to share and its fairly complex. Having a standardized files to edit for sharing, or better yet, convert directly from Steam and export to an image (.png or .svg) would be great.

Anyway, no solution, just expressing my interest. I actually want to write a manual for the control scheme.

I wonder if you could make a script that would read a steamdeck control scheme file and convert it to an html or .svg or equivalent along with editable text boxes for putting a short description, author name, game name etc.

That was my exact same thoughts.
