My dad was always that friend, he made people laugh at every funeral hes been to, including his own.

Fair question, my father had many health problems so everyone was well aware that the end was near. This gave everyone plenty of time to say good bye and so on which was really very bitter sweet.

It also gave him ample time to prepare. He wrote everyone a letter that was to be handed to the appropriate person after his death. His usual personality of outright silliness and wanton disrespect for decorum was all over those letters. As a result there were people at the funeral laughing at his corny ass jokes as if he were there telling them.

I still have mine and I read it when I miss him.
