The Supreme Court granted a request by Venezuelan nationals seeking an injunction against their removal from the United States under the Alien Enemies Act.

I read the full article and it isnt clear but I think they decided they can't deport them until a lower court ruling is determined. I think the lower court ruling is to determine if there is a gang affiliation or not. But im pretty sure they definitely didn't "kick it down" to lower court. Mostly going off the way the author used "pending" in their explanation of the Supreme Court barring their deportation but not making a ruling. 100% not a lawyer tho
