Beach walk

The tide was very low , the dunes were full of chirping fairy wrens , I picked up 3 very nasty looking lures off the beach. And noticed sea anemones in little rock pools against the sea wall . These were yellow anemones, I've only seen dark red ones before. I took some pics. 😊

Seems like you're finding heaps on that beach.

Have to say when I'm down at the beach on the bellarine I don't think I've ever seen one washed up. It's a popular spot for fishing which is curious.

I think a lot of these are jigs, lures for squid, it's a very popular spot for squid fishing. On warm nights you can often see little boats off shore shining blue lights into the water to catch squid
