I filled up yesterday after I forgot on Wednesday and a whole chunk of places had upped their prices overnight. 20c is one thing but 50-60c is an easy minimum $20 saving on a full tank. Luckily there was no queue at the place yesterday, I once went to fill up at the last cheap station in the western suburbs a few months ago and it took 20 mins just to get to the fuel pump. Tensions were running high with traffic blocking the side street and what have you.

I went past one last night that's generally around the middle of the trend and it had already gone up. The tank was getting pretty empty after a couple of long drives so I put nearly 50 litres in, it would have been $27 more expensive to fill up at the more expensive one. Well worth a couple of minutes wait time.
