Welcome! This is a space for people who want to limit or eliminate ultra-processed foods (UPFs) from their diet.
Scientific research has shown strong links between the chemicals and additives used by major food corporations and a range of negative health outcomes, including:
- Cancer
- Type 2 Diabetes
- Obesity
- Mental health issues (like depression and anxiety)
This community is here to raise awareness, share resources, and support each other in choosing real, whole foods over heavily processed alternatives.

Fast food like Burger King, MacDonalds, and domino's, shop bought UPF's do little for me I do however enjoy chocolate. And fast food is convenience over taste so its been fairly easy to kick.
Interestingly some of us are genetically encoded to seek out delicious food. I'm fairly lucky in that I don't have a strong relationship with food.
This is so true. In the Keto community there is a lot of thought around carbohydrate moderators vs carbohydrate abstainers... basically how addicted someone gets around sweet sugar treats like UPFS (or girlscout cookies)
UPFs have the added twist of being engineered to be addictive and never filling.
