With Ascendance of a Bookworm, I had watched the anime several years before reading the LN, so somehow that made Myne's voice really weird, because I misremembered it. Sort of like a voice that a girl character would use if she was pretending to be an old lady.

I ended up going back and rewatching the anime, and then when I reread the LN, her voice alternated between the anime voice and the weird one.
