has Nintendo already enacted the "we can brick your device whenever we want to" policy?

Not sure. I saw a GitHub for a way to connect an nvme already though lol

Xbox and PlayStation have that yet they never do it and tbh I doubt Nintendo will ever do so either. Its more for legal protection especially in cases where the user bricks their system.

I saw a YouTube video claiming someone got their switch 2 bricked already. Didn't watch the video itself, so I don't know the details, but I assume a mod attempt was made.
