it sounds like you are personally against the community that you moderate for. that's probably a bad idea, right?

surely what the community wants is what's important. hence the reason for the creation of this community in the first place.

there's two mods in the community and they want different things, so it would probably be a good idea to give mod to someone who actually wants to see the community thrive.

I’m unsure what your position is here, that these communities, be it in Lemmy or elsewhere aren’t frequently dealing with the posts I referenced or that people (plenty of which, have explicitly told you) aren’t tired of it. I am sure this conversation has probably reached its apex and that by this stage we’re probably not going to learn anything further about each others opinions.
