Hey there, nothing at all about doing extract brewing. I still do it after 15 years of brewing. It's especially great for a quicker brew day with less cleaning.
Adding specialty malts and steaping them in a grain bag can allow you to modify recipes opening up another world of brews.
Next brew is my summer beer, then start on a cherry stout. To hopefully be ready by late September or early October.
Also if you're interested in all grain, brew in a bag is an easy and cheaper way to get into all grain. I've done it on the stove top for years.
