I wish there was a board where people would have the ideology of the left but without bring so triggered by anything.
Just no concept of humor as a coping mechanism.

I've had the fortune to post on niche micro-imageboards like that, irreverent but not hateful.
They just have to stay small otherwise the classic issue of "Any community that gets its laughs by pretending to be idiots will eventually be flooded by actual idiots who mistakenly believe that they're in good company" arises and now you can't post pictures of black people without a chance of triggering the trolls.
The age old battle between "I think It's funny because It's true" against "I think it's funny because it's not true and absurd "
Stupidpol describes itself as "Subreddit focused on critiquing capitalism and identity politics from a Marxist perspective" and I'd say that's pretty accurate. Despite being primarily Marxist, rightoids and libs are allowed to post so long as they flair themselves, and censorship is kept to a minimum (mostly just removal of anything that gets Reddit admins involved).
It seems like you are getting either one extreme or the other. I'd be fine with no extremism on either political side and more rational moderation.

It isn't. The baseline could be straight up illegal comments (defamation, threats, extortion, etc.) and some generally accepted rules among most worldviews on top of that.
Surely thats your own lemmy instance ? other instances can federate or defederate as they want (or piefed)

Ummm this is actually so toxic and disrespectful. People on the left care about and advocate for marginalised people and so adding humour to them is a pretty bad look sweety. I think, respectfully, you should delete this now. And maybe catch up on some of your leftist reading... This comment gives me pretty yikes vibes..
