Whoa, that's a big mushroom!! How does it taste?

They get soft and slimy with cooking. They taste a bit like generic champignons but also have a nutty, foresty smell and taste as well.

This type is found in pine forests, so it is known as pine forest boletus. I also found a boletus edulis on the same day. The mushroom is similar but the cap is a darker shade of brown and the base tends to be thicker and more white. Sadly, I didn't take a photo.
