You see, this is where childhood "trauma" helps, I have a vivid memory of being called out for arriving late to school (when i was 6-7) because I didn't live that far away and so I should easily be able to arrive on time.
So the social anxiety with being judged about being late just overpowers whatever the random shit my brain wants to do in the morning.
That sucks. And that should have been a conversation with your parents.
