The conference is finally over. If anyone else has been to these types of work conferences, tell me if you've heard these before:
There's never been a more exciting time to be in your department/industry
You're the underdog and the rest of the organisation doesn't realise how important you are
How to get a seat at the table with business leaders
It kind of feels like these conferences are to tell everyone in a similar space how important they are and your workplace would collapse without you.
I suggest they pay employees for all the excitement and importance with extra money
I mean, they would collapse without you.
