Tbh it can also be terrible when you realize that in 6 months you got deeper into the topic than someone doing it for years, like "oh you don’t know about the most specialized and intricate detail about this niche of your hobby??". Basically that their passion for the topic somehow is 10x less than what you felt for it at your peak
